Oh how sweet are these long warm summer days. As a summer child there’s nothing more I could crave for. As soon as the warm days started I ended up spending most of my time outside, merely coming home to sleep. In the last few months so much happened and I don’t even know where to start. There were many ups and downs, dramas I never though I’d have to deal with and opportunities I never though I’d get. Even though life is still a mess focusing on the positive things is what makes us move forward. So let’s focus on those good things! I’m trying to focus more on photography and make something out of it because it’s one of the things I enjoy doing and feel passionate about. I got to shoot two proms so far ( I’ll show you photos in future posts) and will shoot couple more in the upcoming week. I learn quite a bit from each session so I’m always looking forward to new ones. Yesterday INmusic festival ended and I spent the entire day in bed recovering from dancing and singing all night long. For the third day I carried an analogue camera and tried to compensate for not taking any photos during the past two days so when I get them developed I’ll share them here if they’ll be any good haha. Another good news is that I quit one of the two jobs I was doing. Now I have more time for other things and can finally get some sleep.

I know I haven't written in ages, I'm not feeling as inspired and enthusiastic as I was when I started this blog. I keep postponing writing cos I keep telling myself that I'm not feeling inspired enough to write, or have nothing to write about. I won't talk about it right now but share this one look I absolutely adore. It consists of some of my all time favourite clothing items of which I got some quite recently and others have for over a year or two.

I recently purchased three items from Zaful. Their adds keep popping up everywhere, everyone writes about them, features their items in outfit posts...so I wanted to see for myself what's it all about and how is the quality of their items. I must say I'm amazed by the quality and one of the items I purchased is my favourite piece of clothing for this summer.
When it's hot outside I don't like wearing pants. They stick to your legs, you get all sweaty and feel like you'll melt. But I don't own that many dresses or skirts to change them everyday (even tho my mom thinks I have a closet full of dresses I barely ever wear) so I'll have to get some more in the next month.
As I'm getting older I don't feel as comfortable wearing short skirts as I used to (at least not to public institutions) so when I'm going to uni I prefer wearing something that's around the knee length. When I'm shopping for summer clothes (I also wanna wear to University) I need to pay attention to it's length cos nowadays many dresses are super short. This dress is perfect. Perfect length, light material, beautiful colour/design.

I believe all of you have an creative block sometimes and need rest from everything. I've been absent for almost a month, trying to put my mind off of all things and "start fresh" with no worries, no stress, just doing what I love when I can. As the academic year is closer and closer to the end we have many projects to make which are time consuming. I find myself sitting in front of the laptop and writing code or googling for how-to's for the entire day. After class I'd sometimes stay in Zagreb for couple hours to take photos of a friend but mostly go straight home or to work.

April already came to it's end. I can't believe how fast time passes. As this weekend is a prolonged one you all probably have some plans already. On May Day (1st May / Labour Day) my family has some sort of tradition to host a family lunch and then most of us go on a hike afterward. If the weather serves us it will be the same this year.

The weather is having mood swings again and for the last couple days the temperature was barely above 0 and it was so freakin' windy. I've put away all my winter clothes and don't plan to bring it out again. It looks better today and hopefully it will stay that way. Do you have any plans for the weekend? I want it to be productive, some studying, taking lots of photos and writing a post or two. I feel like I've been quite inactive on social media and here so I'll try to fix that.

I finally went to the hairdresser to dye my hair again. She used the same dye as before but it turned out much darker, which I don't mind cos it's a beautiful dark amethyst shade. Probably after 2 weeks or so it will turn to the colour I had last time. As I let them experiment, and do with my hair whatever they want she made these big curls which make me feel like a doll and which will last for the Easter weekend.

Going out for a long walk and taking photos is slowly becoming a regular thing for me as the days get warmer and longer. Friend is trying to live a healthier, more active life so during the weekend, when we're both free he's always for action. One of our favourite spots to take photos became the arboretum cos there are so many evergreen trees. I'm a huge lover of nature, greenery + sun make me tremendously happy and full of energy. Boyfriend likes to call me a plant lover and says I want to turn into a plant. But nah, I just wanna be a faerie living among them.

I hope you're all having a great week. Sunday was such a fun day and a great way to prepare for (or relax before) the upcoming week in which I had my last exam this semester. I spent the entire afternoon outside with a friend. We were roaming around the town, mostly going through parks and along the river but as the sun went down we walked towards the center train station to admire the stunning pastel sunset. 
It finally feels like spring is on the way. Sunny and warmer days came which means we can put the long, thick winter jacket in the back of the closet. A month ago I came across a photo saying "Winter knows no fashion" which is so true. Even if you dress super cute you'll have to cover your outfit with a thick jacket and scarf, probably earmuffs or a hat and gloves. Coats are very stylish but when the temperature gets way bellow 0°C and is windy for the sake of your health you'll switch to a warmer jacket.
Black and neutrals for the weekend. Mom got me this dress in a small boutique during our short trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina. I've been telling her how I need some autumn/winter dresses cos most of mine are without sleeves. So when we came across this one she decided to get it for me. I love how the front and back go into a slight triangle so it makes it slightly longer and different from all those A-line dresses that can be seen in stores. Couple months ago I got this faux leather jacket from a local family-owned second hand store. Since my first visit there I always find at least one thing I wanna buy. These two things go so very well together.
Hello! Here's an outfit I wore some time ago on a sunny but not too warm day; while I could still pull off a wool hat. The basic 3/4 sleeve black dress goes with everything, so I've put over it this cardigan that has the cutest lace V part on the sleeves. It's light, flowy and long. In this post you wont be able to see entirely how it looks, but it will be featured in another one. The dress has stitching around the waist so to cover that part I always use a little belt. In the end put on the necklaces I pretty much always wear and pin 2 bobby pins along the inside of the hat so it doesn't fly away when the wind blows. And the outfit is done!

Sundays are usually lazy days for me. This one is cloudy and rainy and it actually feels like autumn much more than spring. I already know I'll spend it inside. As I'm writing this post sister is preparing ingredients for pancakes/crepes in the kitchen which we'll make and then watch films or series while eating.
This morning I woke up late and had very little time to get dressed to go to grandmas place for lunch so this simple outfit is the result. It consists of a flowy floral dress with a bow around neck which I got quite some time ago on sale. This denim jacket is my go to jacket it spring and summer cos it makes you warm but isn't too thick and it's really easy to move in it unlike in a (faux)leather jacket which is stiff and really cold when you put it on. Black pantyhose to keep my legs warm and maroon oxfords which are the comfiest shoes and if it starts to rain I know I'm safe in them.
