This NYE celebration wont be that fun for me cos I'll probably stay at home with parents. I got ill the day after Christmas and still didn't recover entirely. So going out, partying and drinking isn't an option cos my body couldn't handle it. I wanted to write this post on Wednesday but unfortunately couldn't cos I pretty much overslept the day. So it will be a last minute makeup suggestion if you're still wondering what to apply.

I got ICONIC pallets quite a long time ago but still haven't used one of them. They are ICONIC 2 and 3 by Makeup Revolution London. I used ICONIC 3, it has pink and brown tones which I love on my eyes. They're neutral in a way and go with everything. And there's THE golden glittery shade in the middle that is absolutely gorgeous and adds something special to the look when you add it. The first colour, white-pinkish , I usually use as base colour and in the corners.


The L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara is my all time favourite. It works perfectly with my lashes. It's probably more to the brush than to the product inside but well, both matter. It lasts all day and doesn't crumble. I don't use too much mascara but when I do I'll use one of L'Oreal's.

Eyeliner I use right now is Super Extend by Avon. It lasts all day, is easy to apply and the tip doesn't become useless after some time. I used many pen eyeliners so far, different price ranges and like this one the best so far.

Discovering this foundation was such a miracle to me. I used to use Fit Me! by Maybelline NY but they stopped selling it and I had to find something new. On the internet I heard so much about Revlon's ColorStay so why not try it. The lady working at the store helped me with the shade, don't ever be afraid to ask them for help. Anyway, it stays on for the entire day. I never applied compact powder over it, my T-zone never gets oily like before, it doesn't look cakey (maybe cos I apply little?) and I don't break out cos of it.

Lipstick is by Manhattan in shade 650 Ra-Ra-Raspberry. It may look dark in the packaging but it's actually what it's name says. A shiny raspberry shade with a sweet smell.


Moving onto the next pallet and flatlay:


The ICONIC 2 pallet consists of more sandy tones, which also include a silver glittery eyeshadow and a matt black one. I haven't used it cos it's similar to ICONIC 3 and I didn't wanna ruin it. Just look how pretty it looks untouched! haha

Lipstick is in shade Milano Red ( 11 ) by Deborah Milano . It's a light red kinda leading to orange shade. The lipstick is hypoallergenic and has a beautiful gentle smell. I love the packaging cos it's so elegant and old fashioned.

The mascara is also by Deborah Milano and it's the Extraordinary 5in1 mascara. The brush doesn't really work for my eyelashes cos it makes them stick to each other but the product itself is very good, doesn't crumble and lasts long without smudging.

For any special occasion I wear Daisy by Marc Jacobs cos it's one of the most elegant sweet perfumes ever. Do I need to say anything more about Daisy?

Like every holiday so far I was at home with my family (not like I could choose since I live with them). We decorate our tree on the Christmas Eve and this was the first year sisters and I decorated it on our own. It was always something parents did but this year they let us do it. Dad got this beautiful silver pine which looked gorgeous even without all the ornaments.

We always spend Christmas Eve at home. During day preparing the house and during the evening relaxing, enjoying and watching festive film.
Christmas Day is the day when family gathers, dad's side of family comes over for lunch and then cousin and we watch films in the living room while grown ups talk in the kitchen or they join us, but usually not for the first which is always a horror film (our little tradition) . In the afternoon we visit mom's side of family and stay there for dinner. This year I stayed home with cousin cos I was at grandma's on Christmas Eve and I didn't want to leave him alone. But I'll probably visit grandma today again...

Last week I wrote about the first of three days in Budapest which was mostly sightseeing and settling in the hostel in the evening. The other two were more for independent exploration. Like a group we went down the Vaci utca, which is one of the main and probably the most famous street, to the St. Stephen's Basilica. On  both sides of the street trees are planted and I don't know what kind of tree is it (if anyone knows let me know in the comments) , but they were still green, and as it was a sunny day it gave me some "tropical vibe".

This weekend was the most wonderful one in quite a while. I visited Budapest, explored a bit and spent a lot of time getting to know other travellers at the hostel. To me travelling isn't just about sightseeing, going around the city on your own or with someone you know. What I care more about is meeting new people, the ones that are at the same place as you at the same time. Listening to their stories, finding out what brought them there, where will they go next, gaining some experience by learning from their stories. Then exploring the city, lonesome streets and busy ones. High spots, hidden spots, cultural spots, ruins, pubs, cafes and clubs. Budapest is full of everything. Whatever you're searching for you'll find there.

Before leaving I made a list of places I wanna visit, but well, didn't visit most of them cos I ended up elsewhere or was too lazy to walk to the other side of the city. I'm already planing to go back during spring or summer to explore. It's much easier for me to walk around during the warm seasons. When it's cold and gloomy I prefer to stay inside or stay in a close circle of the place I'm staying at.

From Zagreb to Budapest is a 5h ride. We left on Friday morning and got there around 2pm. First place we visited was Citadella on the Gellert hill. I won't talk about it's history cos everyone can google it. But basically it's the place with the best view of the entire city.

This post will be a bit different.  I want to show you mom's outfit for companies early Christmas party. They have annual party like pretty much any other company. This year she decided not to do her own makeup and wear a dress.
She wears formal clothes on daily basis but you'll never see her in a dress nor skirt. Always pants and blouses. There are many cute and wonderful formal pants but come on, there are also beautiful dresses that fit everyone and skirts, from pencil ones to flared.

Her makeup was done by a friend of mine, Lucija, who does all sorts of beauty things. Thank you Lucija for wanting to wake up early 🙇  She's been doing her makeup and blogging for a long time. Last year she started working in a beauty studio in Zagreb after she got certified but also works in her free time at home. Many people I know went to her for special occasions and she did makeup for couple photoshoots. Everyone was always satisfied with her work, and so was mom (and she has a very distinctive taste in things ~ she was so happy and said "we'll surely see each other again").

Hello Everyone! This week has been quite busy. The time of exams is just around the corner, everyone has been giving us a lot of homework lately and there are also project deadlines. I guess professors want to get everything done before winter holidays, which are in a month.
I didn't leave home much (except for going to classes) so there isn't much i could write about.

While editing these photos I came across some that I don't quite remember taking. Mostly those random quick shots of Mihaela laughing while she was moving around, which I absolutely adore. Seeing someone close to me and people in general, smiling from the depth of their heart fills me with such warmth and happiness. Seeing people happy, enjoying the time with others, being part of something, living the everyday life with a smile on their face can make my day immediately, even on the worst of days.

In a previous post I mentioned my friend Bruno, who's and aspiring folk singer-songwriter. He plays on the street sometimes, writes songs and music, gathers inspiration from the musicians that inspired him and the life itself. This summer he had his first gig on the "Pick-Up music festival (acoustic night)" and shortly after that they asked him to play on a street festival in Karlovac.

Few days before summer ended Maggie and I went for a walk towards the forest. As we live in a hilly area there are many meadows everywhere. At this time of year there aren't many flowers too see or to pick, but there are blackberry and hip shrubs. It was a sunny warm afternoon, we needed to use it the best we could because days before it were rainy and so were the ones after it.

I'm Tea [Teah], a 19 year-old girl from Karlovac,Croatia. Student of information and communication sciences, linguaphile, art and nature lover. A dreamer and a melancholic born few decades too late. I like fashion, styling and combining things that at first might seem as they don't go together, one day dress minimalistic, another colorful, vintage...someday I wear makeup someday I don't, or keep it to the minimum. So my style is a mix of many and it's kinda the same ever since I was a child.

I've been wanting to start a fashion blog for years but never had the courage or right motivation to start and keep it doing. Now, the time has finally come and I'll try to post every few days.
