The last warm light

Hello!
Autumn covered streets with it's colourful blanket, warm sunny days exchange with rainy ones and mornings are cooler and cooler and extremely hazy. Winter is coming, but let's first enjoy the magic this season brings.

Monday was a day off. We didn't have class cos November 1st is All Saints which is a holiday here so they connected it. The long weekend was mainly spent with family, visiting graveyards and honouring the dead.

On Monday I had to wake up early and do some work. It wasn't that easy to get out of warm bed and get ready while it's still dark outside but it was definitely worth it. After interviews and morning coffee, friend and I decided to hang out and catch up on everything cos we haven't seen each other in a while. During summer we used to see each other whenever I'd finish work earlier and had to wait for mom, which was almost every other day but now we're both busy with school.

It was one of those now rare warm days without any clouds on the horizon. Few meters from the Shadow bar is a big park which we had to pass. Families were spending time there, enjoying the extra day they have with their family. There here were some kids dressed as ghosts having a (cute) spooky photoshoot between bushes.

We sat on the bench and talked, shared things that happened to us since the last time we saw each other. As the shadow moved towards us we also moved to a warmer spot. Karlovac is a town of parks. There are so many, everywhere you turn around you'll see greenery. That's what I love most about it. Whenever I go to a new place I search for parks and pretty calm places that slow down the hasty city life.

Around noon we were hungry cos none of us had breakfast so early lunch was a must. We just had sandwiched but it was enough to stop the hunger. The pastry was covered with oregano which gave it a rich flavour. I'll have to try that at home sometimes.
